Description

Typical Aplications

The wire 70 S-6 is steel on carbon electrode that offers an excellent welding with a high amount of dioxidant elements for welding where there can not be followed by strict cleaning practices.  This electrode is used mainly with CO2 gas and other commercial mixtures like the INDURMIG. This welding offers a practically slag free deposit, reducing to the minimum the cleaning procedures.

STEELS ASTM A36, A285-C, A515-55 Y A516-70

Uses

Welding Process

The wire 70 S-6 is recommended to be used in ordinary low alloyed steel. It’s content of silica and manganese gives it excellent deoxidant properties that ensures a porosity free welding on a great range of works.
